Unless you are going to quit your job and really use this for travelling around the country for a while, you should probably just look at it online.
When I was 22 I did just that. Drove from Bellingham, WA to Key West, FL. Then up to Michigan, and back again to Bellingham. It took about 18 months. The damn thing broke down in Portland, Oregon, Tempe, AZ, Lake Charles, LA, Valdosta, Georgia, and in Muskegon, Michigan. Being about as handy as a potato, it certainly served as a formidable challenge. But an experience I would not trade for anything. Anything.
I ended up selling it to a dead-head who bought it with his Auntie's money. I hear reports that it is still sighted in and around Washington State, as it has the distinct markings of "P.T.L" on the rear, which I always mused stood for "Pay The Lady."

Why would he need to quit his job to travel around the country? I thought that WAS his job.
