Berzerkely
When Jiggs and Tasty are upheld as shining examples of a community, you know there's something wrong. That being said, Berkeley does have some amazing talent in the computer science field (a fact I completely zoned on during dinner with the aforementioned guys.) If you'd like some light reading on the role UC Berkeley played in the history of UNIX, don't look here.

Bob Kridle, named here, was a founder of Xinet. Now he likes to teach trumpet at Berkeley high. Every few months I get together with Bob and Dick Wrenn, the guy who sold all the VAX systems to UCB (and who also started Xinet) for sushi and talks of boats and music. Eyes glazed over now, I found this really interesting.
